Tanzania

In Tanzania I had a good time continuing to view wildlife across Africa. There are many impressive game parks although at time they feel rather zoo-like. I saw a great range of animals including Black rhino (photo 1), gnu (photo 2 & 3), zebra (photo 3 & 4), lions (photo 5), vervet monkeys (photo 6) and elephants (photo 7 & 8), one with a particularly impressive appendage (photo 8).

The people in Tanzania were generally pleasant, although all the Masai (photo 1) I saw in traditional dress seemed to be trying to get money for photos from tourists. It was a shame to see people prostituting themselves like this. There are a great number of tribes in Tanzania and in the small town of Mto-wa-mbo that I visited in the north there were sixty different groups living together harmoniously, with the kids (photo 2) attending the same schools and having fun together.
