Sutton Hoo

Sutton Hoo is the site of some impressive Anglo-Saxon burial sites dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. It is famous for the saxon horde that was discovered there, which included a burial boat and a wealth of gold and other artefacts including a sceptre of sorts and a finely worked helmet.
