Wray Castle

Wray castle is a bit of an oddity. It is in a spectacular setting and was built as a bit of a folly. It was recently used as a conference facility amongst other things and was then given to the National Trust. Consequently, it is mostly empty and is slowly being refitted and refurbished in something approximating an approriate style. In the meantime, it has fun distractions for youngsters whilst adults explore the place and read about its history.
