Suriname

In the centre of Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, there are some attractive government buildings (Photo 1) including the Presidential Palace (Photo 2). Paramaribo is also the only place I have seen a large synagogue and mosque literally next door to each other, without apparent problems.
