The heath and beach at Dunwich are owned by the National Trust. The beach is pebble, so not so soft to lay down on, the advantage being it doesn't get stuck in any crevices. Down the end of the beach heading south, one can see the Sizewell nuclear power station on the horizon. We didn't see any but apparently one can sometimes see whales and dolphins from the viewpoint up on the heath.
